Hello Friends!
For many riders, cornering is the most vexing of skills. You have all your surfaces and cambers and this technique from your friend and that other one from YouTube, and it’s all confusing and it’s easier to slap on a pair of stickier tires but they also have a limit so you get a slacker head angle and now it’s even worse and now you believe you suck at corners and … well … now you do suck at corners.
No more of that.
I’ve helped thousands of riders corner well, and I’m gonna help you too. Are you already good at cornering? Great! Let’s make you better. As a mountain bike guru once said:
“All great riding comes from the basics.
The thing about the basics is,
you can master them in infinite depth.”
I’ve been pretty good at cornering for a long time. I’m better now, and after I join you on this mission I’ll be even better. We’ll all be better. I’m taking my game to the Sea Otter dual slalom! I’ve been the bridesmaid but never the bride.
Paying subscribers will receive a weekly series of skills games to play. You can post video links of you practicing, and I’ll give you feedback. In 6 weeks we’ll all be more dialed in our core cornering skills. Then we’ll take on the next skill.
